Description My client based in East Leeds is currently seeking a business development manager to join their team, you will be expected to generate new business and attend meetings, taking the customer through the sales process. The ability to create sales forecasts, develop and research sales channels whilst managing your own pipeline is essential. Key responsibilities: Determine key routes to market to achieve business goals; Self generate leads and respond to leads generated by other team members; Keep customer database up-to-date at all times; Establish and maintain good working relationships with equipment distributors and installers; Establish good working relationship with content designers; Understand the finance options available; Provide monthly report detailing sales activities, sales forecast, market developments and opportunities; Prepare detailed costed proposals for every customer requirement; Ownership in everything undertaken.
Skills & Requirements Key attributes and skills required: Attention to detail; Efficient and highly organised; Self confident and self motivated; Confident articulate communication - face to face, on the telephone and written; Excellent preparation and delivery of presentations
Excellent closing skills; Capable user of MS Office, with Sage ACT being an advantage; Process driven and willing to follow and develop systems consistently; Work well within a team; Warm hospitable personality.
