Legal Secretary
| Description | We are currently seeking an experienced legal secretary to join the planning department of this leading law firm based in the centre of Leeds. This is a busy role within a lively team, where you will be responsible for providing secretarial support to fee earners and partners. Duties will include: Typing general correspondence, long documents, planning appeal forms and other documents. Telephone duties including receiving phone calls, taking accurate messages, being proactive when dealing with client calls e.g. following up on queries where possible. Opening/closing and maintaining client files. Billing. Making travel reservations and, where necessary, hotel reservations. Diary management and arranging meetings. Preparing mail merges. Producing some marketing material such as PowerPoint slides and seminar packs. Filing and photocopying. This is initially a 6 month contract. |

| Skills & Requirements | Applicants must have experience of working as a legal secretary in planning or commercial property. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint is desirable. A minimum typing speed of 65wpm |
