Description We are currently seeking an experienced legal secretary/typist to join this leading law firm based in the centre of Leeds, the successful applicant will be working as part of their busy insurance team from 4pm until 9pm Monday to Friday. Main Duties:
Working as part of a team, you will process all manner of digital dictation, using a variety of in-house case management systems for the Insurance Practice Group, liaising with other secretaries within this Practice Groups and relevant Workflow Co-coordinators.
To follow all the Firm's policies and procedures.
To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times. This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract.
Skills & Requirements Skills: Ability to type quickly, accurately and for prolonged periods.
Ability to deal with confidential information. Hardworking, flexible and adaptable in their approach. Proactive in work ethic and strive for continuous improvement. Experience of digital dictation systems to a competent level is essential. High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel is essential.
Typing speed of 80 wpm with 95% accuracy. Intermediate to advanced level in IT and keyboard skills. Experience of working as a secretary or typist within a legal environment.
