Receptionist
| Description | This professional services organisation based in the centre of Leeds is currently seeking an experienced receptionist to join their front of house team. You will be responsible for providing a professional and friendly front of house service to all visitors. Duties will include; Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner, taking coats, seating the visitor and informing the relevant person of the visitor's arrival. Issue passes to visitors, contractors and temporary staff and cancel at the end of the visit. Arrange sending of faxes, photocopying and couriers when requested by visitors. Control access to car park, ensuring only authorised vehicles are parked. Arrange taxis for visitors and members of the firm, ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed and forwarded to the Finance department. Book meeting rooms using a PC based system, including all catering and equipment requirements. Liaise with maintenance, catering and IT to ensure rooms are set up as requested. Check all meeting rooms at the end of the meeting to ensure they are ready to host the next meeting. This will include ensuring crockery and equipment has been cleared, tables and chairs are returned to the required layout and the room has sufficient stationery supplies. Any maintenance issues should be reported and if necessary the meeting re-scheduled. Maintain the reception area by ensuring all relevant information is available and up to date, newspapers and periodicals are up to date and tidy, ensuring no maintenance work is performed during opening hours unless in an emergency, professional appearance and manner of the reception team is maintained. Ensure all services are provided in accordance with the agreed service levels. Book video conference meetings with other offices, including international offices using a PC based system. To cross train into other areas of Business Operations, in order to be part of a fully flexible team. |
