A Purchasing Import Planner is require to join a distribution company in Leeds.

As Purchasing Import Planner, you will be part of the Customer Services Team. Purchasing materials from Europe, managing the complete supplier cycle, ensuring orders are tracked and delivered on time into a 3PL warehouse. You will be responsible for management of export documentation; the role is a good mixture of Import/Export order processing and customer services.

You will have at least one year purchasing experience and understand about raising PO's on a system and getting confirmations from suppliers.

Specific Tasks:

*Raising PO with all European & UK Suppliers
*Booking transport for imports into 3PL warehouse
*Import Clearance documentation to be prepared and transport booked
*Ensuring all goods are booked into SAGE
*Liaising with the warehouse with regards to import deliveries, and export despatches
*Running MRP on SAGE and placing PO with suppliers or building trailer loads
*Updating Customer Services Team with confirmed ETA dates.
*Ensuring all customs entries are completed by our supplier as per agreed deadlines.

*Can remain calm under pressure and be able to multi-task
