My client a well established Law Firm are looking for a Legal Administrator to join their Conveyancing team in Bradford. You will provide an administrative support service for the Conveyancing Team in the Residential Conveyancing Department. The role will involve performing all duties and functions to ensure the smooth running of the team and assisting in providing a top-quality service to clients.

Main Duties;

- File Opening and Progress - receiving instructions, opening a file and sending our initial terms and conditions to client; inputting of all data relating to the matter into the Case Management System; preparation of the file; production of the Welcome Pack / Initial Documentation in accordance with the team procedures
- ID Checks and Logging on - receiving client initial documents duly completed by the client; carrying out initial electronic ID checks; carrying out SRA checks/Solicitor Check against firm on opposite side of transaction; ordering search packs on Purchase property; preparing SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms)
- E-Mail - dealing with incoming instruction emails on the same day as they are received; assigning incoming emails that are not instruction emails to the relevant fee earner who has responsibility for the matter
- Post - dealing with incoming and outgoing post as requested by other team members; ensuring that all Welcome Packs are sent out to the client on the same working day as the instruction has been received
- Filing - maintenance of all hard copy files on a daily basis; dealing with any filing requests as requested from time to time by other members of the team
- Administration tasks - reviewing residential inbox and allocate emails to relevant team members; exercising high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times


Skills Required:

- Administration experience working for a Law Firm ideally
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good data input skills
- Good team player, but also ability to work on own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and targets and work under pressure.
