About the Opportunity

We're recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a successful and expanding property business based in the North of England.
The company has built a strong reputation for its professional service and local expertise within the property market, offering a supportive and collaborative workplace where every team member is valued.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a friendly finance team, working closely with the Finance Director and wider office.
What You'll Be Doing
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Processing sales and purchase invoices.
Updating financial records and posting payments and receipts.
Communicating with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain positive relationships.
Monthly responsibilities include:
Reconciling supplier statements and chasing missing invoices.
Preparing and processing Purchase Ledger BACS runs.
Collating and checking payroll data for submission to the payroll bureau.
You'll also assist with general office and administrative duties, including handling calls and supporting colleagues across the team.
