My client specialises in property investment sales, lettings, and property management across the UK's northern cities, with plans to expand into London within the next 12 months. Their service covers the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing and furnishing to full-service rental and tenancy management.
I am seeking a dynamic, ambitious Lettings & Business Development Manager to lead a lettings function and drive new business acquisition - focusing both on their core landlord clients and on winning tenancy management mandates for PRS / Build-to-Rent (BTR) developments.
This is a senior, dual-role position combining operational leadership of the lettings department with proactive business development responsibilities. You will oversee the lettings process and lettings team, ensure compliance, drive strong occupancy rates, and maximise profitability. A key part of the role will also involve building relationships with build-to-rent operators, developers, institutional landlords and investor groups to secure tenancy and rental management contracts across multi-unit developments.
Company Benefits:
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + 3 bonus days at Christmas
Extra annual leave for each year of service
Birthday off
Hybrid working (one day WFH per week)
Key Requirements
3+ years' experience in residential lettings or property management.
Experience working with both private landlords and institutional/BTR developers.
Strong B2B business development experience within lettings or build-to-rent markets.
Excellent knowledge of UK lettings legislation and compliance.
Proven track record in growing lettings portfolios and winning management mandates.
Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with ability to balance day-to-day lettings and longer-term business development.
Proficient in CRM/property management software
ARLA qualified (desirable but not essential).
