Clare Miles


After working for a leading law firm in Leeds within HR, Clare joined the Recruitment Agency industry in 1998 and in 2002 established CLD Recruitment. As well as running the business Clare also has a hands on approach and still runs a desk. She mainly focuses on recruiting for a wide range of roles within the legal industry, dealing with the same clients and candidates for over 20 years! Clare’s passion and drive, along with the help of her brilliant team, have enabled CLD Recruitment to go from strength to strength. Did you know? Clare turned down several interview requests from the BBC 1 programme, The Apprentice!

Nicola Yule

Managing Consultant

Nicola has been with CLD Recruitment since April 2014, when she relocated from Scarborough to Leeds. Nicola has a strong B2B & B2C sales background, so she’s brilliant at understanding client needs and quickly building strong relationships. Nicola specialises in property recruitment in its entirety, ranging from estate agent recruitment and investment property right through to architects, facilities management and block management. Nicola also looks after the wealth management sector here at CLD Recruitment (including wealth management assistant jobs, manager and director jobs) and any commercial roles (including commercial assistant jobs and commercial manager jobs), both temporary and permanent. Did you know? Nicola was born on Christmas Eve and her full name is Nicola Carol Yule.

Bethany Appleby

Recruitment Consultant

Having gained excellent experience working within the legal sector, Beth took the decision to change her career path and join CLD, an independent professional services recruitment agency. Beth will be developing the legal division alongside Clare and excitingly bringing her specific conveyancing knowledge to the branch. As well as her professional skill set Beth has discovered that she can catch objects falling from a great height, especially pizza!

Kim England

Recruitment Consultant

Kim joined the CLD family in October 2019 initially supporting one of our key clients in the supply of high volume temporary staff. Through hard work and commitment Kim quickly excelled in this position and her skills were identified to make the move across to our dedicated legal division. Since then Kim has proven herself as an asset to the legal division supplying specialist candidates right up to the Fee Earner/ Solicitor level. Did you know? Following an audition Kim was offered to be a Disney Princess in Disney Land Paris but had to decline due to university.

Philippa Priestley

Recruitment Consultant

Philippa joined the CLD team in November 2019 to run the Accounts & Finance division handling specialist and high volume vacancies. Prior to joining CLD Recruitment, Philippa spent two years loving life in Canada running a number of food outlets within one of the largest tourism attraction in North America. Outside the office you will find Philippa outdoors exploring new places and not taking life too serious.

Shelley Rezaei

Recruitment Resourcer

Shelley joined the CLD team in 2021 as our Recruitment Resourcer. Having gained over 20 years’ experience working within the legal & insurance industry, Shelley took a career change into the amazing world of recruitment and aims to find great people to help them find great careers as our Recruitment Resourcer. As well as her passion for people, Shelley has a husband & 2 children who are her whole world along with her pooch – Disney. To relax and unwind outside of work Shelley loves spending quality family time going on long walks in the local woodlands & coastal beaches.

Holly Rowe

Recruitment Consultant

Holly joined the CLD team in February 2022 to manage one of our Key Accounts. Holly has a wealth of experience in HR & internal recruitment and has quickly proven herself as a dedicated member of the temporary division. Holly covers all manner of Customer Support, Administration and Analytical roles in Leeds. Holly spent 2 years living Majorca before travelling around Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Tyler Kelly

Office Coordinator

Tyler joined the CLD team as the Office Coordinator, handling our temporary payroll, accounts, facilities management, social media and providing administrative support to the team. Tyler has over 20 years in various PA, reception and administration roles. Outside the office Tyler spends her not so free time being a mummy to her two boys and likes relaxing whenever possible on holiday and weekend breaks.
